The saying "there's no such thing as good and cheap Merlot" is made false in this California bargain.  You won't get more blueberry and blackberry for the money in any other wine at this price.  Big oak influence?  Nope, not at this price but great, ripe fruit flavors instead.

So pungent an aroma that I thought a Whiskey had been incorporated.  Rich, spiced and warm. I could have been imbibing a Bushmills! A ‘Black Bush’ to be exact. The taste was almost the same - but not quite! Really, really smooth over the tongue.  Good Lord, I had opened this last night but recorked it after one glass and now the taste is even better. It is that of a magic elixir. Just ordered another couple of bottles! Ripe plum and raspberry flavors. The vintner recommends pairing with seared pork.
